Welcome to the Tax Division. While we are charged with collecting state taxes and administering tax laws, we also regulate charitable gaming and provide revenue estimating and economic forecasting.

The State of Alaska currently does not have an individual income tax, therefore
no employee withholding for state income tax is required.

Taxpayers are required to file returns and pay taxes monthly. The returns and payment are due by the last day of the month following the month of sale or transfer.
