* or check or money order.

Who must file the IL-1120?
You must file Form IL-1120, Illinois Corporation Income and Replacement Tax
Return, if you are a corporation that
* has net income or loss as defined under the Illinois Income Tax Act (IITA);
or
* is qualified to do business in the state of Illinois and is required to file
a federal income tax return (regardless of net income or loss).
Are there any electronic payment methods for business income tax?
The only electronic method for businesses is the Electronic Funds Transfer
(EFT) for certain payments. The EFT is an electronic payment method that you
use to pay your tax liabilities. Instead of writing a check for the amount of
tax due, you instruct your financial institution to transfer the funds from
your account to ours. We then apply the transferred amount to your liability.
Businesses may pay their IL-1120-ES and IL-505-B with this method.
